The Get Set for School™ program offers exciting professional development opportunities. We invite you to attend one of our workshops and expand your resource toolkit.

Our entertaining, dynamic workshop sessions will train you to engage children and help them develop life-long learning skills:

• Plan new activities to teach body awareness and other school readiness skills
• Understand how to use music to prepare children for school
• Identify developmental stages in writing readiness
• Understand how to use multi-sensory, hands-on manipulatives to prepare children for handwriting
• Teach a correct and effective crayon grip and other fine motor skills
• Teach counting, drawing, shape recognition, and letter/number formations to children at the Pre–K level

Handwriting Without Tears (HWT) sponsors the Get Set for School™ program as part of its mission to help children enjoy learning and reach their potential. HWT’s offerings include an array of handwriting materials and professional training including the Get Set for School products and workshops.
